Alan Smith started his career as a senior engineer working on sonar test equipment for Ultra Electronics in Weymouth, UK. After leaving Ultra, Alan joined Amfax as Managing Director and has spent the last 30 years successfully growing the business to become a major global test engineering company focusing on delivering test solutions for blue chip companies. Alan has used his business experience to help develop and internally fund investment in the a3Di PCB inspection system

Michael Smith has over thirty-five years of experience with Automatic Test and Inspection Equipment with market leading companies including GenRad and Teradyne Inc. With a background in applications, sales, marketing and product development, he has written numerous papers and articles and chaired iNEMI’s Test and Inspection Road Mapping Group. At Teradyne Michael was involved in sales & support for inspection systems worldwide. Michael is a MIEE with a BSc in engineering from Leicester University in the UK.

Peter has an MSc in telecomms and automation from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave. Peter worked as a lead engineer and software developer at Honeywell and Datalan before joining Amfax as lead engineer for a3Di systems

Colin is an experienced software developer specialising in LabVIEW and embedded code including FPGAs. Colin is responsible for the a3Di system software and is a Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD)

Nickii has worked in the electronics and manufacturing field for over 30 years, with 25 years in the product manufacturing area. Nickii is responsible for production planning and strategic purchasing for the a3Di product line
